Out of Time Act I

Description

In Out of Time, the Sole Survivor emerges from Vault 111, devastated by the loss of their family and thrust into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. They reunite with Codsworth, their loyal robotic butler, and explore their former neighborhood, encountering dangers and clues along the way. Their journey leads them to Concord, where they encounter a desperate situation and take their first steps into the harsh new world.

Walkthrough

Escape from Vault 111:

Upon awakening, witness the death of the spouse and the abduction of Shaun.
Navigate through the vault, facing radroaches and retrieving equipment.
Exit the vault and receive the Pip-Boy 3000 Mark IV.
Customize character attributes if desired before leaving.

A Ruined Sanctuary:

Return to the surface and explore Sanctuary Hills with Codsworth.
Engage in combat with bloatflies and radroaches.
Codsworth provides context on the post-apocalyptic world.

Concord:

Journey south to Concord, encountering hostile creatures along the way.
Assist a man under attack near the Museum of Freedom.
Quest transitions to “When Freedom Calls” upon assisting the man.

Notes

Clearing Sanctuary before speaking to Codsworth alters dialogue options.
Codsworth can be recruited as a companion upon visiting Concord before speaking to him.
The quest remains active even if the player reaches Diamond City or meets Nick Valentine beforehand.
Completing the main quest line before speaking to Codsworth triggers unique dialogue regarding Shaun.
