Evil Dead: The Game

Quick Start Tips - Demons

By
Paul McNally

Playing as the Demons in Evil Dead: The Game is a lot of fun, and while there may be once less class (at least at launch) than the Survivors, there is enough variation to keep everybody happy.

So let’s jump in and have a look at the Demon and see how best to get started with them with some quick tips.

Summoning Evil Ash at he right moment can turn defeat into victory

Demons Need Time to Grow Stronger

Perhaps a larger part of the demon game than you think is based around strategy and to begin with the classes are much weaker than they will be by the time you reach the end game.

The demon needs to collect Infernal Energy orbs as quickly as possible which will be dotted around the map (they are the little red orbs). Collecting these will allow the possession-related actions that can really hamper the Survivors as they try to reach their end goal of finding the pages of the book and closing the breach.

Stronger Demons

As the game progresses and the Kandarian Demon grows stronger you can take control of environmental objects that will cause damage to the Survivors. It can also enhance the damage caused by the Deadites as well as summoning special demons, all designed to increase fear in the enemy team. Should a Survivor become so scared, they can even be possessed, which is where the fun really starts as you can suddenly make a Survivor turn on its teammates, wreaking havoc in their ranks in an instant.

If there are none of the possessed Survivor’s teammates handy to shoot, why not just be irritating and waste all their ammo and energy drinks? After all, if you can’t be irritating, what’s the point in being a little devil?

Get your Demon to Level 10

Getting your Demon to Level 10 allows you to spend points to unlock a boss character for the Survivors to deal with. Players spawn as the boss and directly attack remaining survivors, and even if things are going badly the tide can soon turn with one of the bosses such as Evil Ash or Henrietta let loose.
