Whenever a new game picks up any attention one of the first things Xbox and PC gamers want to know is whether they can get it as part of their Xbox Game Pass subscription (or PC Game Pass as it is now known for PC users). So, is Evil Dead The Game available as part of Microsoft’s amazing subscription service, and if not, will it ever be?
Is Evil Dead on Game Pass?¶
Sadly, at this stage, Evil Dead The Game is not on Xbox Game Pass, nor has there been any indication it will be coming in the future. That wouldn’t be unusual however, as if an announcement had been made that it was, it could well make people hold off buying the game if they have an active subscription to save some hard cash.
Other games of a similar genre such as Back 4 Blood went straight onto the Game Pass service and clearly benefited from an increased player base from day one of people trying out the game risk free, but for now, if you want to jump into the Evil Dead universe on Xbox, PC or PlayStation you are going to need to purchase the game to join in.
Will Evil Dead The Game come to Game Pass?¶
It’s important to remember that a publisher doesn’t just not put a game on Game Pass to make a quick buck, choosing instead to sell it at a higher price, but also things need to be right for the project as well. There are an awful lot of games on Game Pass so there is even a chance that, should it get lost among everything else, that the potential audience could be affected negatively and never recover.
