Ulcerated Tree Spirit (Stormveil Castle) Wildlife

Description

In the depths of Stormveil Castle lies the monstosity Ulcerated Tree Spirit. If you’ve faced one already, this one isn’t any different other than the area you fight it in. As you have a bit more space to work with here, the battle is slightly easier.

Although not technically called a boss as it doesn’t have a boss health bar, for all intents and purposes, it is one. The only difference here is you can run away from the fight. Its moveset and attack patterns don’t change from the other encounters so you can follow our boss page here.

Location

• Head over to the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace in Stormveil Castle and go through the small door to the west to reach some stairs leading down. Hop over the little rooftops, kill the bats that hang there and then jump down on to the overhangs below. When you reach the bottom, beware of the rats and Giant Rat there and work your way south and then east until you see a wide open chamber filled with tree branches and water at the bottom.

• This is an optional battle.

• As it’s not a boss, it can be escaped from.

• If you die, you’ll have to make your way down again.

• The Prince of Death’s Pustule talisman can be found in the same area as the tree spirit.

• Weak to Fire and Frostbite.

• Immune to Blight, and Sleep.

• Strong to Poison, Hemorrhage, and Scarlet Rot.
