How to Find an Ebony Pelt in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising¶
This Giant Wolf miniboss is what will drop the Ebony Pelt

The Ebony Pelt is a drop from the Giant Wolf miniboss, who is found in the Great Forest. In order to get to this miniboss, you will need to have recruited Garoo, who can destroy the large rocks with his sword. You will be required to defeat this miniboss while doing the sidequest, An Armorer With an Eye for Fashion, which is actually forced upon you during a Main Quest. You might get the drop during that initial battle, but if not, leave the Great Forest and fast travel back to the Hellhound Lake signpost.
The Giant Wolf isn’t a challenging miniboss, but it is quick, especially with its dash attack. If you have unlocked Garoo’s special ability to block attacks, then that can come in handy. The other attack it has is when it jumps into the air and pounces towards the ground.
