Inside the Sorcerer’s Vault below Sorcerer’s Sundries, as you go to do the Sorcerer’s Vault puzzle, go into Elminster’s Room and use See Invisibility. You’ll find a hidden chest with the cap inside.

Notes / Other Information

This item was originally designed as the Circlet of Fire, a hat in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3 Early Access. They instead changed it into this hat and placed it as an Act 3 item.

Despite its burn effect, this item is incredibly powerful for a fire-themed spellcaster. If you’re running a fire blaster caster, or a fire battlemage, then this weapon is incredibly strong for those builds.
