Description

"Solarus the Immaculate" iconSolarus the Immaculate, a Level 86 V Blood Carrier, resides in the "Fortress of Light" iconFortress of Light at the eastern edge of Silverlight Hills. A legendary paladin of the Light and the oldest living member of the Church of Luminance, Solarus has witnessed the decline of humanity with disinterest. He yearns to return to his days of glory, having faced Dracula’s armies and struck down the Immortal King.

Defeating Solarus unlocks the Pedestal of Solarus structure and recipes for Dracula’s Shadow Boots, Grim Boots, Dread Boots, and Maleficer Boots. Potential loot drops include the "Soul Shard of Solarus" iconSoul Shard of Solarus, "Onyx Tear" iconOnyx Tear, Legendary Ancestral Greatsword Shard, Tier 3 Jewels, Flawless Gems, and "Exquisite Heart" iconExquisite Heart.

The fight with Solarus the Immaculate is divided into three phases. In Phase 1, he uses attacks like Buzzsaw, Light Wave, Charge, and Luminance. At 50% health, he summons a Divine Angel, leading to Phase 2 where Solarus becomes immune and the angel must be defeated while avoiding sweeping beams of light. The angel’s attacks include Swipe Combo, Charge, Bolts, and Empowered Light Wave. In Phase 3, the angel becomes a Fallen Angel aiding the player, and Solarus gains new attacks like Buzzsaw Combo, Light Beams, and Leap. The fight is complex, requiring players to dodge, counter, and strategically use their abilities to overcome Solarus’ powerful attacks.

Abilities

Phase 1:

  • Buzzsaw: Performs a wide swing, firing a buzzsaw projectile that splits in two and returns to Solarus.
  • Light Wave: Spawns projectiles on either side, forming semicircles.
  • Charge: Prepares to charge, firing projectiles on either side. Deals damage and stuns if it hits.
  • Luminance: At 70% health, spawns light vortexes that shoot projectiles in a spiraling pattern.
  • Divine Angel: At 50% health, summons a Divine Angel. The angel becomes immune and regenerates if brought to half health.

Phase 2:

  • Light Beams: Beams of light sweep across the arena, damaging everything they touch.
  • Swipe Combo: Angel swipes twice and thrusts, shooting out several thrusts.
  • Charge: Angel charges forward, dealing damage and knocking aside the player.
  • Bolts: Angel shoots explosive light bolts.
  • Empowered Light Wave: Fires projectiles in an hourglass shape.

Phase 3:

  • Buzzsaw Combo: Quickly slashes three times, firing two buzzsaws in a V pattern.
  • Light Beams: Summons light beams that linger and become a threat.
  • Leap: Leaps at the player, incapacitating and following up with a heavy swing.

Other Notes:

  • Solarus is not immune while casting Luminance.
  • Phase 2 begins when the angel is defeated, with Solarus becoming immune.
  • Phase 3 starts with the angel becoming a Fallen Angel, aiding the player until it dies.
