Locating the Map to Angler’s Tunnel & Stone Beak¶
Once you’ve entered the dungeon head straight forward and up the stairs, follow thw path around to the right where you’ll see a Chest, inside will have the Map to Angler’s Tunnel.
(1 of 3) Head northeast from the start and continue along the corridor to find a Chest with a Map inside,
Head south from the Chest and go down the stairs, dart across the gap to the right and place a Bomb against the crumbling stone near the Chest to destroy it, push the next stone off the side and open the Chest, inside will hold a Small Key. Now go into the next room ahead and destroy another stone that’s blocking a Chest, then open it for a second Small Key.
Make your way back to the area where you found the Map and continue down the corridor until you can branch of to the right, head down the stairs and open another Chest for the Stone Beak.
Locating the Compass¶
From where you collected the Stone Beak, head back up the stairs and head left then go down another set of stairs, now proceed through the room to the right and collect the Compass from the Chest then kill all the enemies in the room to open up the door below.
Go through the door below and follow the path then hop over the small gap, smash the Crystals and then open the Chest for a Small Key. Exit the room and head right and up and until you reach some stones blocking your path, insert a Small Key into the one with the hole and push it up to get through.
Make your way over to the left and kill the enemies and watch the Small Key slowly fall down into the hole, head south and continue down until you reach the back wall of the next room, continue following the path along until you reach a Chest, open it and attack the enemy.
Head up one more room and then right, open another Chest to collect the Small Key, now make your way back to the room where you saw the key fall and open the door ahead.
Mini-Boss: Cue Ball¶

Hop over the Cue Ball as it charges towards you, (left), and then start hitting with your sword as it turns around. (right)
Once you’ve entered the room above you’ll face the Cue Ball, in order to defeat it you’ll need to wait for it to charge at you and then hop over it, causing him to smash into the wall giving you a few seconds to get a couple hits onto his back, repeat this until it is dead.
Locating Flippers & Nightmare Key¶
After the Boss has been slain head through the door above, grab the lever on the top right and pull it as far to the bottom as possible, quickly let go and dart into the room on the left before the stones block the way again.
(1 of 3) Head up from the Cue Ball room and pull the lever all the way back,
Take out the enemies in the room and open the Chest to collect some Flippers, now head down to take out some more enemies then step onto the platform with the white orb above, light up all the platforms and go down the corridor and into the room on the left.
You’ll need to step on these platforms in the following order
- Bottom Right
- Top Left
- Top Right
- Center
- Bottom Left
If done correctly a hidden staircase will be revealed, head down and dash past the enemies before they land on you, once you reach the end you’ll want to hop on top of the stone to allow you to reach the platform above and climb up the ladder to the surface.
(1 of 4) Head to the top right of the map and go down the stairs and dash past the enemies,
Grab the Nightmare Key from the Chest and hop off the side at the end, make your way towards the room where the key fell into the hole and grab 50 Rupees from the Chest on the way, once your back in the room continue right and head down the stairs and swim across to collect a Small Key from the bottom of the water.
Head back into the room where you grabbed those Rupees and continue around the corner to find a button next to a door, step on it and head through, remove the stone by inserting a Small Key and go down the stairs.
Boss: Angler Fish¶
In order to defeat the Angler Fish you’ll want to move out of the way when it’s coming towards you and then attack its head as it’s turning around, after you’ve done this a few times it’ll spawn some friends, kill them and continue attacking the Angler Fish until it’s dead.

Collect the Heart Container that has dropped down and head back up to the surface, open the door ahead to grab the Surf Harp
