Booster Energy Move Type Booster

Description

An item to be held by Pokémon with certain Abilities. The energy that fills this capsule boosts the strength of the Pokémon.

Location

If you’re wondering how to get Booster Energy in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, there are two main methods:

  • You can obtain the first Booster Energy for free by advancing The Way Home, the final storyline in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You will get it from the Professor as you proceed towards the final battle and it cannot be missed.

  • If you want to try and get Booster Energy in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet early on, you can farm Paradox Pokemon. Paradox Pokémon found in Area Zero have a 5% chance that they will spawn with one held, so you’ll need to catch them to get it. You can try saving every time you find one and replaying the battle if that interests you. However, it isn’t necessary.

What does Booster Energy do in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

  • If you’re wondering what does Booster Energy do in Scarlet and Violet, it will allow Paradox Pokémon to use their abilities without needing specific battlefield setups such as Electric Field or Harsh Sunlight.

  • This is especially useful for builds involving Iron Hands as it will allow it to gain its 30% boost to its highest stat at the start of any battle.

  • Note that the item is single use, and can only be used in each battle once. The item doesn’t appear to be consumed from your inventory held item slot once the battle consumes either. Therefore, you don’t need to farm a 5% drop rate to replenish your stocks.
