A precious volume that the customs collector Matthew stole from the Sedletz monastery.

Monastery Chronicle

The Sedletz monastery was built at the request of the bishop of Olomouc - Henry Zdiek. When he was staying in the place where now the monastery stands, he was visited by an angel and this task was granted to him. The monastery is named Sedletz after the saddle (sedle) on which the bishop laid his head that night.
