Your horse will carry you to hell and back, but only if you take proper care of him. So don’t forget to change his horseshoes for the winter, grease his saddle properly and supply him with some frost-resistant oats in a nosebag.

Can be found in the roof of a small hut north of the tavern. There is a cart parked under an open hatch. You can climb the cart to access the hatch, where you will find the book inside.
