Wedding contract Letters
Description
Part of the draft of the marriage contract between the lord of Semine and bailiff Thrush, a free farmer from
Troskowitz.
Text
On the part of the free magistrate Drozda, the marriage of his daughter is to be secured by the yearly proceeds of ten corners of corn or half of that given on anything else, and half a penny from the possession of the hereditary fast. And all this is to pass outright to the children who come of the union.
On the part of Mr. of Semin, the covenant is supported by the whole of the property which shall pass to his son Oldrich, except such property as shall be acquired afterwards, or shall fall to the gift for the salvation of the soul of Mr. John of Semin.
