Popular Flute Song Letters
Description
That must have been torture live.
Text
Underneath the oak tree in the tavern on the square
a whistle and a lute ring out, and drums boom out their share.
From far and wide, from all around,
folk come to dance to the merry sound.
The whistle is whistling, the lute ringing out,
folk are all dancing, the thin and the stout.
And while the drum is loudly booming,
among the dancers, love starts blooming.
