My Good Friend,
I pray for your health and write to you on an important matter. Palatine Nicholas Gorjanski unfortunately remains loyal to King Sigismund and has finally persuaded Pipo Spanu to depart with an envoy to your cousin. Unfortunately, we do not know where Pipo is or whether he has actually set off, but it is clear that there is little time left. We therefore beseech you, gracious friend, to take all the agreed measures as there is no time to lose.
