Letter from Bishop Thomas II Letters
Description
A few lines full of important reports from the Hungarian Bishop Thomas of the city of Erlau.
Text
My Good Friend,
I pray for you and write to you briefly to inform you of the will of Lord István of Debrö, who discussed our matter with the cities of Transylvania and the Count of the Székelys and found great support among them. On the other hand, we are convinced that Lords Janus of Gorian and Stibor Stiborici will remain firmly with your cousin. It is unfortunate for us that Albert of Habsburg did not accept your offer of reconciliation and decided to oppose us.
Set down in Erlau A.D. 1403 on the ninth day before the Calends of May
Thomas Ludanicz, Bishop of Eger
