Letter from Jobst of Luxembourg to Wenceslas IV

in Prague, February 6th, 1397
Jobst, the Margrave of Moravia, promises to Wenceslas, the King of Rome and Bohemia:
to open castles and towns if necessary, and not to appoint officials in the Duchy of Görlitz, Lusatia, Bautzen and the Bailiwick of Zittau, which the King has granted to him with appurtenances, and, for this, the King grants to him the Margraviate of Brandenburg, the Duchy of Luxembourg and the Bailiwick of Alsace with appurtenances, on the further specified conditions of succession.
