In the darkness I hear weeping and gnashing of teeth. I can’t hold them in much longer. The voices of demons scratch at my soul like swords at my helmet.
I can’t take off my armour. I am never safe. Lord, protect me! They’re everywhere. I can smell their burnt flesh again. I don’t want to become one of them. The demons of hell are always calling my name. It sounds like the trumpet of the Last Judgment.
