This is a pretty straight-forward fight. There are a lot of enemies, particularly on the higher difficulties, for such a small army, but your Avatar and Gunter should be up for the job. Use the traditional method of pairing up Gunter with the Avatar, refresh with Azura, and heal with Jakob or Felicia. If you bring along Mozu she will also be helpful. Your Avatar’s Dragonstone can come in particularly usefulness here, being powerful enough to one-shot some of the enemies who have lower Resistance. Who needs follow-up attacks?

Use this Dragon Vein to heal.

One thing that can help you is setting off the Dragon Vein in this area which will turn a room into a room of healing! It’s useful but certainly not necessary. Why not level up Felicia or Jakob instead? But just in case you wanted to know.

Take note that there are a few chests located way off to the sides of the map and you will need Chest Keys. Take your time, Saizo and Orochi won’t attack unless you get into their range. And Yukimura won’t really move much at all. Try to finish them off using your weaker characters, since your Avatar is likely pretty overleveled by this point, and they give a lot of experience. Gang up on Yukimura to defeat him in one turn.

Once you have beaten the chapter, Sakura will permanently join your party, alongside Saizo’s brother, Kaze. Nice, we finally have a Locktouch unit! Additionally, Sakura’s two retainers will join alongside her: the samurai Hana, who is very fast, and Subaki the Sky Knight, who is less fast but more tanky. Your army is finally growing to a decent size! They will all prove very helpful in the battles to come.
