Northpoint Reservoir Ponds
Description
Northpoint Reservoir, situated in the exterior of Nuka-World, was built using pre-war engineering, strategically constructed in the northern reaches of the region. Its primary purpose was to regulate water flow into the valley adjacent to Nuka-World. However, in the aftermath of the Great War, the once vital water body has fallen into disrepair, its stagnant waters now serving as the habitat for a formidable colony of mirelurks, led by a Mirelurk Queen.
Layout
The reservoir’s imposing dam, still resilient despite the passage of time, features a gated roadway at its peak, facilitating vehicular access. An off-ramp leads down to two houses nestled on the western shore of the river, south of the reservoir. Near the dam’s base, where the mirelurk queen often emerges, lies a rowboat stocked with various Nuka-Cola beverages and a duffle bag. While the western side of the dam is traversable, the eastern side extends beyond the map’s boundary.
