Wild Boar Beasts

Description

Boars are a wild creature players can often find in the Hinterlands. The Boar is an aggressive creature, though, will only charge players nearby.Players can also get a pet Boar, or a Greater Boar if they raise a Boar Shoat in an Animal Pen.

Killing a Boar in the wild will grant the player the opportunity to get a Boar head Fur, Hide and Tusks, and, if using a Cleaver on them, you will find you can loot Raw Pork and Exquisite Meat, and more sources of Savory Flesh. Players can use these in food recipes, while the head can be used to create a wall trophy or a pressed for Bones and Blood in a Fluid Press.

If you happen to raise one of these creatures in your Animal Pen, then feeding it a meal is important to grant it additional stats. Your best bet is to feed it either mushrooms or plants to grant it buffs. Here are the best meals to feed the Boar for certain stats or HP regeneration.

• Desert Berries 14% Vitality
• Highland Berries: 14% Grit
• Hops: 10 health a second regeneration.
• Plant Fiber: 14% Strength
• Puffball Mushroom: 14% Vitality
• Vines: 14% Agility

Note you can still feed Boars other plant or mushrooms ingredients or meals to still grant other buffs or health regeneration, but the values will be much lower in one or multiple stats.
