Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

Perikles's Symposium

By
Scott Peers

Make your way to Perikles’s residence, as marked on the map. When you arrive a cut scene will initiate in which you will see Phoibe again. Take her advice and change into some different clothes. You can then speak with Herodotus. When you have navigated through the dialogue options, you will have an opportunity to find more information about your mother. When Herodotus leaves, two support quests that are connected to the symposium will automatically be accepted. Before you pursue their specific objectives, go around the room and speak with a number of famous historical figures for the purposes of… amusement.

Drink Up

Walk into the room east of the main court to find and speak with Sophokles. He will suggest that you endeavour to get Euripides drunk to loosen his tongue. When you are done speaking with Sophokles speak with the kitchen assistant and take the wine. It does not matter which you choose, but if you wanit to see Aristophanes make a fool of himself, you should choose the sweet wine. You can also take the olive oil from the kitchen at this point, which will be useful for ‘Oil and Love’. When you have both items, go back into the court to encourage Aristophanes and Euripides to have a drinking content, at the end of which you will learn some useful information.

When you are done singing you can return to Sophokles to compelte this support quest.

Oil and Love

Go to the hallway from the south of the court and turn east. Interact with the large door at the end of the hallway. Alkibiades will open the door. Navigate the dialogue options and offer him the oil that you found in the kitchen. He will then invite you to join him and his… associates (don’t worry, the goat is apparently only interested in voyeurism, not participation). You can choose to decline but this is highly discouraged. When the deed is done Alkibiades will suggest where to look for your mother, and then bid you farewell.

When you are done with Alkibiades, return to the court and speak with Socrates. You will then be led onto a conversation with Aspasia, who will provide you with yet more information about where you might find your mother. When you are done, go to Perikles, who can be accessed from the stairs in the hallway to the south. When you have spoken with Perikles and Herodotus, go back down stairs and speak with Phoibe to leave the symposium and complete the quest.
