Cauldron XI Override. Meet one of the more annoying machines in the game, the Stalker. Half of the time, you won’t even know a Stalker if there, until it likely hits you with an attack. The reason for that is that the Stalker can cloak itself and in some instances, it is very hard to see the faint outline when they are invisible. There is one way to know if a Stalker is in the area or not, as they like to place “mines” on the ground that send a signal into the air if you either get too close or shoot them. Shoot them from afar to lure the Stalker to the area of the signal, although it’s random as to whether or not it stays cloaked.
As far as attacks go, the Stalker is equipped with a dart gun, which it will use to stay as far away from you. If it doesn’t know your exact location, then it will fire the dart gun at your last known location. You might also find the Stalker run away from you while dropping mines, only these are of the explosive nature, so be careful if you give chase. It does also have a few close-quarters attacks, but these aren’t too difficult to dodge. The Stalker does have one glaring weakness, though, which is shock. If you know its location, hitting it with (enough) shock damage will temporarily stun it, allowing you to possibly target its stealth generator on the side of its body.
