Tchia is a delightful little indie game that is making big splashes as Sony has been promoting it and it now is one of the rare editions to the free games you get to play with PlayStation Plus Extra. You may be wondering just how much this deal has restricted Tchia, a game that many players think would fit perfectly on the Nintendo Switch. The guide below goes over all the platforms that Tchia is currently confirmed for, and which ones it won’t be coming to any time soon.
Where Can I Play Tchia?¶
You will be able to play Tchia on March 21, 2023 using your PC or PlayStation console. Sadly, Tchia Oléti Edition is currently only shown as being available on the Epic Games Store. The extra content will run you an additional $5, and this will likely be an additional purchase when the game launches or a bit later on if you’re using the PlayStation Store. Below are the ways that you are going to be able to play Tchia at launch.
- Epic Games Store
- PlayStation Plus Extra
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation 4
Upcoming Platforms¶
While you won’t be able to play Tchia on launch if you don’t have a PlayStation or PC, there is hope that it may come to Xbox and the Nintendo Switch in the future. It has also been listed as coming soon on Steam, so it might be available eventually on there as well.
There is not yet a release date for the Steam version of the game, but the Tchia page has been up for several months. The game may have an exclusivity deal with both the Epic Games and Sony and will not be able to release on other consoles or platforms for at least a few more months.
