Work bio: Chris has been playing video games since 1986, back when people saw in black and white. Former editor for Destructoid, their thoughts and reports on the media taste forgot have also been published in outlets such as Eurogamer, Starburst, and Retro Gamer. Joining the Gamer Guides crew in 2023, Chris contributes fair and thoughtful critique on a wide variety of genres.

Personal bio: Chris has grown up alongside gaming, wasting their youth in '80s arcade centers, fighting the console wars of the '90s, and surviving today's hype-fuelled dystopia. They have spent much of the past 30 years playing fighting games, ultimately acquiring a skill level that is in no way proportionate to this time frame. Chris' two great loves are films and coffee.
