King Beetle α is an Armor set in Monster Hunter Wilds. An armor set is a collection of individual armor pieces that when worn together, make a complete set. There are five armor slots that make up a set: head, chest, arms, waist, and legs. As has always been the case with this series, stacking the right combination of physical and elemental resistances, along with the appropriate skills is essential to successful hunts, especially as the difficulty starts ramping up against High Rank monsters. You can mix and match pieces of armor between different sets to your heart’s content, but think of armor sets as a convenient way to get a ready-made collection of armor with complimentary skills and stats, that you can then tweak with talismans and decorations to really hone in on a particular build to help you out when the going gets tough.
