TalontedDefeat 40 Feral Talons, 25 Gladiator Talons, and 15 Hunter Talons. |
0.00% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the Talonted achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Defeat 40 Feral Talons, 25 Gladiator Talons, and 15 Hunter Talons”. Feral Talons, Gladiator Talons and Hunter Talons are all parts of the Court of Owls faction, and you’ll start running across them during Case 3.2 - Chelsea Tunnel… Feral Talons, at least, the other two enemies won’t spawn until later. Gladiator Talons will appear in Case 5.2 - Inside Gotham’s Walls while Hunter Talons won’t appear until Case 6.2 - The Voice of the Court. To hunt down these Court of Owl Talons, just grind out crimes (perhaps in pursuit of legendary gear or while trying to thwart 250 crimes for Expert Crime Fighter?), but take the added steps. Look at all the premeditated crimes on the map (you should be screening them for legendary drops anyways) and if the faction listed is “Court of Owls”, clear it, as you may get some Talon kills this way. As for opportunistic crimes, hover over each district of Gotham City on the map and look for the owl icon under the “Faction Presence” header - if you see it, head to that district and start hunting the white triangles on the map (and compass) marking opportunistic crimes, as at least one of them will spawn Court of Owls enemies. Repeat until this achievement pops. Keep in mind that you can continue to hunt Talons in the postgame, but if you start New Game+ your story progress will be reset. To get Talons to spawn again on New Game+ you’ll need to progress the main questline to Case 3.2 (Feral Talons), Case 5.2 (Gladiator Talons) and Case 6.2 (Hunter Talons), respectively. That said, two playthroughs of the story might not be the worse thing in the world, especially if you need the XP to reach level 40 for the [He’d Be So Proud Of You] achievement. |

The Man-Bat Family |
0.10% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the The Man-Bat Family achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Defeat 10 Man-Bats in Gotham City”. Man-Bats are minibosses that’ll start spawning throughout Gotham City after the main case file 7.2 - Talia al Ghul, which is pretty close to the end of the main questline. You need to defeat ten of these monstrosities to earn this achievement, but you fight several of them in the main questline:
Following Case 7.2, Man-Bats will also start to spawn on other buildings - they generally like tall, flat-topped buildings, something Gotham City has no shortage of. Basically any sufficiently tall building with a suitable arena may spawn a Man-Bat, and if one is present you’ll see black smoke billowing from the roof of the building. This effect is unfortunately not incredibly overt from a distance, so you’re unlikely to spot a far-off Man-Bat spawn just by scanning Gotham’s skyline. You’ll need to go to their potential spawn-spots and search for them, using the aforementioned black smoke effect as an indicator only when you’re relatively close to the potential spawn site. Just wait on the roof where you see the smoke and a Man-Bat should appear after a moment. Confirmed random Man-Bat spawns include (but are not limited to):
We suggest defeating the five Man-Bats during the main questline, then during the post-game freeplay, do patrols, search the aforementioned spots, and defeat the final five Man-Bats. Do not start New Game+, however, as this resets story progress - if you start New Game+ before getting this achievement you’ll have to play through the story again until at least Case 7.2 to cause more Man-Bats to spawn. That said, two playthroughs of the story might not be the worse thing in the world, especially if you need the XP to reach level 40 for the [He’d Be So Proud Of You] achievement. |

0.20% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This page will provide details for earning the “Practice Makes Perfect” achievement in Gotham Knights. How to Complete the Practice Makes Perfect achievementA relatively simple achievement/trophy to unlock, although you will have to progress through the game to unlock some later challenges. You’ll need to complete all 16 training challenges that can be accessed by interacting with the training equipment on the left side of The Belfry. Once you’ve interacted with it, you’ll notice that there are three different categories, Basic, Abilities, and Advanced. Each of these will need to be completed to earn the achievement. Basic TrainingThere are seven challenges in this category, and these will be your generic learning how to play the game challenges. All of these challenges will be available from the start.
Abilities TrainingThere are five challenges in this category, and these will help you learn how to use Momentum, the ability resource of the game. All of these challenges require you to complete Momentum Challenges which are:
All of these will unlock as you progress through the story and encounter each of the factions with the latest faction being Case 6 for the Talons.
Advanced TrainingFinally, you have Advanced Training. This category has four challenges, and it’ll teach you how to perform the more advanced techniques in the game such as Timed Strikes. These challenges will either require you to purchase the ability or reach Knighthood.
There you have it, completing all 16 training challenges will grant you the “Practice Makes Perfect” achievement/trophy. If you need help completing any more, visit our Achievements section to find out more. |

He'd Be So Proud of YouReach the maximum level as any member of the Batman Family |
0.20% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the He’d Be So Proud of You achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Reach the maximum level as any member of the Batman Family”. To earn this achievement you’ll need to reach level 40 with any one character. Since all characters level up simultaneously, you don’t need to worry about who you’re playing at any given time - if you’re earning XP, you’re making progress. That said, you can only reach level 30 on your first playthrough, and even this will take some grinding, followed by more XP grinding on New Game+ to go from level 30 to 40. There are many ways of earning XP: defeating criminals, stopping crimes, completing challenges, but arguably the best way to earn XP in both your first playthrough and in New Game+ is by simply completing case files (both main quests and side quests) and completing training/tutorial challenges in the Belfry. At higher levels you can expect to gain tens of thousands of XP from both case files and training challenges. Replaying the training challenges earned us a few levels, and on top of that we had to play through the main case files until we reached Case 04 to finally reach level 40. Given that you can’t surpass level 30 until you start New Game+, this very well may be the last achievement you unlock, depending on how much you accomplished on your first playthrough. If you have to clean up other trophies on New Game+, you may have to advance through the main case files significantly anyways, in which case you’ll likely earn this achievement as a byproduct. |

Dressed to ImpressCraft a complete set of Legendary equipment (Suit, Melee Weapon, Ranged Weapon) |
0.30% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the Dressed to Impress achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Craft a complete set of Legendary equipment (Suit, Melee Weapon, Ranged Weapon)”. Legendary equipment is denoted by its yellow color, and typically has higher stats and more mod slots and passive stats as compared to more common gear. In order to find the blueprints for legendary gear you’ll need to advance the main questline - if you’re early in the game, legendary blueprints simply will not drop. Once you reach Case 06, however, legendary blueprints will finally start to drop, and you can find them from pretty much any source of loot; defeat criminals during opportunistic crimes, premeditated crimes, loot chests, complete challenges, etc. |

0.50% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This page will provide details for earning the “A Momentum Occasion” achievement in Gotham Knights. How to Complete the A Momentum Occasion Trophy/AchievementTo earn the A Momentum Occasion trophy/achievement, you’ll need to unlock all the “Momentum Abilities” for one of the heroes. There are eight altogether, but each character will have one unlocked from the start. This means that you only need to unlock seven of them. Access the main menu, head to the challenges tab, and find the Momentum Abilities card. At first, you’ll only have access to the first challenge, Guard Breaker. Guard Breaker ChallengeFor this challenge, you’ll need to defeat five Bulldozers who are a part of the Freaks Faction. These are the big guys with the large shields. You can find them almost anywhere you can find a group of Freaks, but your best bet to encounter them are the higher difficulty Premeditated Crimes which are committed by the Freaks. Once you defeat them, you’ll unlock the first Momentum Ability. Ferocious ChallengeThis challenge won’t be available until you complete Case File 3.2 Chelsea Tunnel. The challenge itself is relatively easy as all you need to do is defeat 15 of the annoying Feral Talons. After Case 3.2, you’ll be able to find Court of Owls crimes around the world. Completing this challenge will unlock another Momentum Ability. The Shadowed Perch ChallengeAnother challenge you won’t be able to unlock until you’ve completed Case File 3.2 Chelsea Tunnel. This will unlock Owl Nest crimes on the map, and you’ll need to complete two of these for the challenge. You can find Owl’s Nests by finding and interrogating members of the Court of Owls who’ll also appear around the map from this point on. In Plain Sight ChallengeYou won’t get this challenge until you reach Case File 4.2-“The Orchard Hotel”. In the mission, you’ll encounter new enemies, the League of Shadows Assassins. For the challenge, you’ll need to defeat five of these which you’ll complete while playing the mission. Case File 4.2 – The Orchard HotelThis one will be automatically unlocked during the mission where you’ll have to find out about the elusive Court of Owls in the Orchard Hotel. Side StoriesNot a challenge, but you will get one Momentum Ability for completing their Side Stories indicated by a colored bat icon on the map. Some of these will be in The Belfry, and won’t appear on the map. Unlock KnighthoodFinally, you’ll gain a powerful ability for completing the Knighthood trophy/achievement. |

Bat Out of HellComplete every Batcycle time trial |
0.50% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the Bat Out of Hell achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Complete every Batcycle time trial”. To unlock Batcycle Time Trials you must advance the main questline to Case 04, at which point one Batcycle Time Trial will appear on your map. Head to the start location (marked by a glowing green cube) and summon the Batcycle, then drive through a checkpoint ring to start the race. The Batcycle is slow, clunky and surprisingly ponderous - not a great racing machine. Once the race has begun a timer will pop up, and you must finish the race before the timer expires. Your course will be marked by checkpoint rings, and while driving through them is optional, each checkpoint ring you hit will add 2 seconds to the timer, so while missing one isn’t a problem, missing too many will eventually cause you to run out of time. In addition you can usually find several clock pickups on each course, each of which will add 5 seconds to your timer. The key to succeeding at these time trials is, ironically, to take it slow. Mistakes and open world randomness will cost you more time than playing it safe will, and while each checkpoint ring doesn’t add a lot of time, there’s a bunch of them in each race and they’re spaced fairly close together. Be methodical and drive cautiously while keeping just enough speed to make your checkpoints and you should do fine. After each race, return to the Belfry and start a new patrol to spawn the next Batcycle Time Trial. |

Expert Crime FighterPrevent 250 crimes in Gotham City |
0.70% Ultra Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the Expert Crime Fighter achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Prevent 250 crimes in Gotham City”. As can be expected of a well-run polity like Gotham City, crime abounds when the sun goes down - you’ll usually find at least half a dozen premeditated crimes every patrol, as well as several opportunistic crimes in each district. You’ll need to clear Gotham City of crime fully numerous times to hit the 250 crimes this achievement requires, but it’s stopping crime is something you’ll end up doing as part of the main questline and if you want to earn the achievements [Not On My Watch], [Protector of Gotham] and [Dressed to Impress], just to name a few. Aside from the game’s case files, the open world crimes plaguing Gotham City are kind of a core gameplay element. All that being the case, don’t worry about “Expert Crime Fighter” too much. All crimes count towards it regardless of whether it’s an opportunistic crime or premeditated crime, what type of premeditated crime it is, and what faction is perpetrating said crime, and there’s a lot of them each patrol. Work on other objectives and if this achievement doesn’t pop before you get everything else (which is unlikely), just start new patrol and hunt down those naughty white triangles on your map until it does. |

This page will provide details for earning the “Family Meeting” achievement in Gotham Knights. How to Complete the Family Meeting Trophy/AchievementThis is one of the achievements/trophies that may take you a while. For the achievement you’ll need to defeat 30 Godmothers! For the most part, you’ll want to save this until you’re near the end of the game, so it’s less of them that you’ll have to hunt for. If you still need some of them by the time you reach the end of the game, you’ll need to fight The Mob Factions, and hope a Godmother is amongst them. Here are some tips to help you locate them more easily.
Like mentioned above though, focus on the other long trophies/achievement first like Expert Crime Fighter as you may well finish it before you have to waste time looking for them. What are GodmothersThe Godmothers are Minibosses inside The Mob faction. These burly women have high health, and hard-hitting attacks. They are armored which means you’ll need to perform many Guard Breaks on them to defeat them. They are almost always backed up by other members of The Mob, so you may want to take them out first which will make your life easier when you only have them to focus on. They are weak to Electric, so you may want to equip weapons that have that element attached to it. Batgirl’s Beatdown ability is especially strong against them, and a couple of them should be enough to take them down. Nightwing’s Shotgun Darts are also pretty good against them, as is his Whirlwind ability. Red Hood’s Barrage is also great due to its interrupts, and finally, Robin has a couple of great methods in his arsenal. The first is his ability to perform ambush/Silent Takedowns on large enemies if you have the Turnabout ability unlocked. The second is his piercing attack, Bo Spin. |

Here are some tips to help you locate them more easily:
Like mentioned above though, focus on the other long trophies/achievement first like Expert Crime Fighter as you may well finish it before you have to waste time looking for them later. What are Regulator Drone MastersRegulator Drone Masters are Minibosses inside the Regulator faction. These are arguably some of the most annoying enemies to fight in the game after Talons. They will constantly bombard you with multiple drones that will fire at you every couple of seconds, and they can be quite evasive when you try to focus them down. On the higher difficulty crimes, they can really hinder you. They deal electric damage, and are weak to Concussive damage, so you may want to equip weapons that have that element attached to them, and a suit that negates electric damage. Batgirl’s Beatdown ability is especially strong against them, and a couple of them should be enough to take them down. This page will provide details for earning the “A Worthy Successor” achievement in Gotham Knights. How to Complete the A Worthy Successor Achievement/TrophyTo earn the A Worthy Successor achievement/trophy, you’ll need to buy every ability in the Knighthood Tree in the Abilities menu. There are seven in total to purchase, which will cost you 11 AP (Ability Points). The good news is that you only need to do it with one hero. If you’ve spent most of your points already, don’t fret as you can gain an extra ten levels in New Game +, and these will give you more AP per level than the 1-30 levels. Another alternative method could be to switch over to a hero you haven’t played yet, and level all of theirs up, but you will have to unlock Knighthood again for them. How to Unlock KnighthoodBefore you can purchase all the abilities for the A Worthy Successor achievement/trophy, you’ll first need to unlock Knighthood as the tree is locked at the beginning. To do this, you’ll need to complete the following challenges:
When you’re done with them, head back to The Belfry, and check the armor pieces to the left of the exit to get a short scene followed by unlocking your Heroic Travel ability alongside the Knighthood Tree. |

This page will provide details for earning the “Solid Alibi” achievement in Gotham Knights. How to Complete the Solid Alibi AchievementTo earn the Solid Alibi achievement/trophy you must complete five Secret Identity Compromised side activities which protects Batman’s identity. These side activities can be started after completing Case File 1: Batman’s Last Case. Once you have access to them, the first one will appear on the map in the West End district as the following icon . Once you have access to them, you can do them at any point including post game, and new game +. You can find the five Secret Identity Compromised side activities in the following locations.
One thing you need to know about the Secret Identity activities is that you cannot be seen/detected at any point otherwise you’ll end the activity. The reason for this is that you’re trying to keep Batman’s real identity hidden which will require you to plant bugs, and access servers all under the guise of stealth. This is why we recommend playing as Robin for these activities as he’s a master in the art form of stealth, although it can be done easily with other heroes. If you are caught, exit to the main menu, and load up the game to reset the activity. This will save you time in the long run by not having to head back to The Belfry every time you get caught. For an in-depth walkthrough on how to do each Secret Identity Compromised activity flawlessly follow our guide for it here. |

To earn the Protector of Gotham achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Complete 50 Challenges”, which may sound like a fair bit of work, but in Gotham Knights “challenges” are both numerous and usually pretty easy to complete. Challenges come from various sources, including training tutorials, special objectives for unlocking some [Momentum Abilities], busywork required to advance some main case files and villain case files and most importantly (as far as this achievement is concerned) various NPC challenges. To check what challenges you have available, just go to the “Challenges” tab in the Batcomputer, where you’ll find challenges sorted by category. While all challenges count towards this achievement, regardless the category, to hit the magic number of fifty you’ll need to repeatedly complete NPC challenges. The sort of busywork you’ll be required to complete for various NPC challenges is random, but almost all of it involves you going around Gotham City and stopping opportunistic crimes and premeditated crimes. Sometimes you’re tasked with completing a set number of crimes, stopping specific crimes (Criminal Deals, Witness Under Attack, Bomb Threat, etc), rescuing civilians, or, in the case of Lucius Fox, crafting different types of gear or fusing modchips. |

In Your ElementInflict Elemental Effects on enemies 50 times |
11.70% Rare | - | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
To earn the In Your Element achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you must “Inflict Elemental Effect on enemies 50 times”. There are several types of elemental damage in Gotham Knights: bioelectric, concussive, cryogenic, incendiary and toxic, which can spawn on melee and ranged weapons. For the purposes of earning this achievement, the element doesn’t matter, just as long as you have a weapon capable of inflicting elemental damage. Once you’ve met that simple condition, you just need to hit enemies with said elemental weapon until they’re afflicted by an elemental debuff. Once you have a decently-leveled elemental weapon with as much Elemental Effect Buildup as possible, you just need to hit an enemy with it until they’re debuffed. Each hit will fill up a radial elemental debuff icon above their heads, and when filled, they’ll be debuffed. This brings up another potential complication - enemy durability. Regular-tier enemies may simply not survive enough hits to be debuffed, especially if you’re using a high level/quality weapon. There’s not much you can do about this, as your garden variety goon is notoriously squishy, but veteran or champion level enemies should be strong enough to withstand your attacks long enough to end up debuffed. Failing that, the informant enemy at every opportunistic crime should be durable enough for your needs. Get yourself a good elemental weapon and go out of your way to inflict elemental debuffs when you’re out on patrol, ideally while you’re working on other objectives. With a little bit of effort ahead of time, you should knock out this achievement without having to expend too much effort on it. |

This page will provide details for earning the “Knighthood” achievement in Gotham Knights. How to Complete the Knighthood Achievement/TrophyTo earn the Knighthood achievement/trophy in Gotham Knights, you’ll have to complete a few challenges. Open up the menu, and you will find three challenges that you’ll need to complete. These are all the same for each hero. Timed Strike TrainingComplete Timed Strike Training - Go to The Belfry, and interact with the training equipment to enter the training menu. You will find Timed Strike training under the Advanced Training section. For this training you’ll need to practice attack timing to master Timed Strikes. As a melee strike is just about to land on the enemy, tap or hold the melee button to perform a timed strike. For Red Hood, his Timed Strikes will be ranged. One Step AheadStop 10 Premeditated Crimes - For this challenge you’ll need to complete crimes around the map denoted by the red crimes icon on the map. To unlock premeditated crimes, first, you’ll need information of when they are going down. This will require you to interrogate the perpetrators who are committing the smaller crimes around the map, which is denoted with a small white upside down triangle. Against All OddsDefeat three Minibosses - Self explanatory, defeat three minibosses. You will most likely complete this while you do the challenge above. Minibosses are the enemies like the Godmother, Shocker, Bulldozer, and the Gladiator Talon. If you have trouble completing this, do the harder difficult crimes which will have a more likely chance of one appearing or progress through the story as you’ll fight them throughout that. Final StepOnce you have completed the above challenges, head back to The Belfry headquarters, and interact with the armor pieces presented on the pedestals to the left of the exit. This will be denoted with your character icon. Once you interact with it, you’ll get a short cutscene, and reach Knighthood unlocking the achievement/trophy. |
