Quick Walkthrough

1. Obtain Private Hart’s holotape from the body on the exterior west side of the Museum of Witchcraft.
2. Enter the museum via the cellar door.
3. Navigate through the museum to the first floor.
4. Deal with or sneak past the Deathclaw.
5. Retrieve Sergeant Lee’s holotape and the pristine Deathclaw egg from the rear bathroom.
6. Choose to either:

• Deliver the egg to Wellingham in Diamond City.
• Return the egg to the Deathclaw nest.

Detailed Walkthrough

Upon hearing from a Diamond City guard about strange occurrences at the Museum of Witchcraft, the quest “Investigate the Museum of Witchcraft” is triggered. This leads to Private Hart’s body and holotape outside the museum. Listening to the holotape reveals Hart’s team was fleeing from something inside the museum.

Museum of Witchcraft:

• Enter through the cellar door near Hart’s body.
• Navigate through the museum, encountering growls and falling body parts.
• On the first floor, a Deathclaw (level-dependent) roams. Players can choose to kill or sneak past it.
• In the rear bathroom, find Sergeant Lee’s holotape and a pristine Deathclaw egg.

Choices:

1. Deliver the Egg to Wellingham:

• Travel to the Colonial Taphouse in Diamond City.
• Receive 200 caps (additional caps with successful Persuasion checks).
• Obtain Wellingham’s recipe for Deathclaw Wellingham.

2. Return the Egg to the Nest:

• Head to the Deathclaw nest near Parsons State Insane Asylum.
• Encounter a friendly Deathclaw and receive a Deathclaw Gauntlet.
• Optionally, take the gauntlet and fast travel to Diamond City to sell the egg without making the Deathclaw hostile.
