Morton Residence Ruins
Description
The Morton residence, located in the exterior of Nuka-World, is an old house situated on the southeastern outskirts of Bradberton. Abandoned and weathered by time, the residence bears the scars of neglect, with its first floor boarded up and garage chained from the inside.
Layout
Access to the house is possible through a drainage pipe to the west, nestled at the base of the stone wall in front of the structure. This pipe leads to the basement, infested with radroaches, housing the remains of a previous resident and an Expert-locked safe. Ascending the stairs to the first floor reveals the garage, featuring a power armor station, while the rest of the house is engulfed in debris.
Notable Loot
- Antique silver locket: Found in the basement, within the curio.
- Nuka-Cola Quantum: Located in the basement, held by the skeleton on the bed.
- Power armor frame: Positioned in the garage, adjacent to the power armor station, spawning with zero to six leveled parts. Notably, this is the sole location where power armor with the BOS initiate paint can be obtained.
Notes
- The Morton residence offers the only opportunity to acquire power armor with the BOS initiate paint.
- The power armor frame may spawn with rare mods like jet packs or paints such as BOS elder paint.
- Each power armor part is randomized individually, making a full set of T-60 with specific paints unlikely.
- Power armor cannot spawn with paints or parts from other add-ons or Creation Club content.
- Capturing the Nuka-World Red Rocket will designate the Morton residence as a settlement under the influence of the raider outpost.
Bugs
- Players may exploit the placement of the power armor station inside the garage, accessible through a broken window, bypassing the intended access route. This issue affects all platforms.
Trivia
- Created by level designers Bryan Brigner and Drew Langlois, the area’s editor IDs (DLC04POIDL01 and DLC04POIBB04).
