Dry Rock Gulch Employee Area Ruins

Description

The Dry Rock Gulch employee area, nestled within Nuka-World, offers a secluded retreat surrounded by high walls in the eastern reaches of Dry Rock Gulch. Concealed along the exterior wall of the Gulch behind tall hedges south of the east entrance, this area provides a haven for park staff.

Layout

Accessible only after restoring power to the park at the Nuka-World power plant, the employee area comprises five buildings, although only the garage to the east and the workshop to the southeast are accessible. The ground is booby-trapped with scattered fragmentation mines, and the vicinity is teeming with feral ghouls, particularly within the workshop.

The garage accommodates a weapons workbench and an Advanced-locked wall safe, while the workshop houses a power armor station. An external ramp and ladder on the workshop’s west side lead to the rooftop, where makeshift walkways connect to adjacent roofs. A trunk atop the central building offers potential loot.

Notes

Accessing the employee area before power restoration to the park is possible through inventive rock climbing near the Dry Rock Gulch east entrance. Climbing the giant red Nuka-Cola bottle at the east end of Main Street, then navigating rocks and gaps eastward, allows entry over the outer stone wall. Alternatively, a power armor jet pack facilitates access.
