Nuka-World Junkyard Junkyards
Description
Nestled in the southwestern outskirts of Nuka-World, the Nuka-World junkyard stands as a testament to the park’s forgotten relics and discarded wonders. This expansive wasteland of debris serves as a haunting reminder of the park’s former glory, now reduced to a maze of trenches and radiation-laden pathways.
Background / History
Before the devastation of the Great War, the Nuka-World junkyard served as a dumping ground for obsolete attractions and outdated robots removed from the park’s inventory. Over time, this desolate expanse became a graveyard for forgotten dreams, swallowed by the ravages of time and neglect.
Layout
The junkyard sprawls across the landscape, with its main entrance marked by a towering warehouse to the east. Within its confines, visitors navigate a labyrinthine network of trenches and debris-strewn pathways, navigating through pockets of radiation that pose a constant threat.
Notable Loot
Commie Whacker: Found within the large warehouse, resting on a table near the generator.
SCAV! issue #2: Located in the warehouse on the upper level, positioned on a desk near an animatronic alien.
Star Core: Discovered in a computer console adjacent to the desk with the SCAV! issue, offering a glimpse into the mysteries of the cosmos.
Nuka-Cola Dark: Safeguarded within a safe upstairs in the barn, alongside the star core and animatronic alien, offering a tantalizing taste of the park’s exclusive offerings.
Notes
- The Port-A-Diner within the large warehouse boasts a 100% chance of dispensing a perfectly preserved pie, a rare treat amidst the desolation of the junkyard.
Bugs
- The star core within the junkyard may respawn after several in-game days, potentially allowing players to exploit this glitch to obtain rare items prematurely.
- Occasionally, one of the robots within the junkyard may spawn below the map, rendering it invulnerable to destruction. However, leaving the area and returning after a period of time typically resolves this issue.
