The Black Knife scales primarily with Faith and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for dealing addition Holy Damage and for its Unique Skill, Blade of Death, that allows the user to fire an additional projectile.

- Dropped by Black Knife Assassin in Altus Plateau. This boss is directly west of the Rampartside Path site

- This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War.
- Black Knife can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones
- The range of Blade of Death is longer than Reduvia Blood Blade and equivalent to Sorceries and Incantations.
- The animation of Blade of Death is slow so be sure to be away from the enemy when performing the attack.
- Incantations like Black Flame Blade and Blood Flame Blade cannot be used with this dagger.
- Stealth attacks with Blade of Death do not crit.
