Bolt of Gransax is a Spear in Elden Ring. The Bolt of Gransax scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and has additional lightning damage.

Location

The Bolt of Gransax weapon can be found at the following locations:

• Leyndell, Royal Capital: After beating godfreys spirit. Take the elevator down and walk up the spear.
• Additionally the spear can be obtained upon first entry of Leyndell, Royal Capital by running to the location where the spear has pierced the wall and then jumping onto the roof underneath. After landing on the roof, you will then be able to jump on the small ledge to the right of destroyed part of the wall then allowing you to jump up to the spear to climb up and obtain the weapon.

• Weapon Skill: Ancient Lightning Spear.
• This weapon can not be infused with Ashes of War.
• Bolt of Gransax can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones.
  • As the weapon is a strength/dexterity weapon that is upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones,
  • Having another strength/dexterity weapon using Smithing Stones as the upgrade material is recommended to allow swapping weapons based on the situation.
  • Affinity grease can not be applied to this weapon.
• The weapon becomes unobtainable after Leyndell becomes the Capital of Ash.
