A ritual performed on the oddly misshapen blade imbued it with the power of the stolen Rune of Death.

The Black Knife scales primarily with Faith and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for dealing addition Holy Damage and for its Unique Skill, Blade of Death, that allows the user to fire an additional projectile.

• Dropped by Black Knife Assassin in Altus Plateau. This boss is directly west of the Rampartside Path site

• Weapon Skill: Blade of Death
• This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War.
• Black Knife can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones
• The range of Blade of Death is longer than Reduvia Blood Blade and equivalent to Sorceries and Incantations.
• The animation of Blade of Death is slow so be sure to be away from the enemy when performing the attack.
• Incantations like Black Flame Blade and Blood Flame Blade cannot be used with this dagger.
• Stealth attacks with Blade of Death do not crit.
