The blessing of this half-rotted rune reduces the healing power of Flask of Crimson Tears.

And yet, due to the infusion of Malenia’s spirit of resistance, attacks made immediately after receiving damage will partially recover HP.

Malenia is daughter to Queen Marika and Radagon, and her Great Rune should have been the most sacred of all.

Description

Malenia’s Great Rune Attacks recover HP. Great Runes in Elden Ring are special items dropped by Demigod Bosses that can be equipped to acquire special passive bonuses.

Location

• Obtained by defeating Malenia, Blade of Miquella who is located at the bottom of Miquella’s Haligtree, in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.

• To activate the Rune, you need to go to the Isolated Divine Tower. Follow our guide here to see how to get there.

Notable Info

• This Rune allows you to recover a portion of health by attacking the enemy after taking damage. The amount that can be recovered is indicated by a lighter red bar. This is very similar to Bloodborne’s battle mechanics.

• It will reduce how much your Crimson Tear Flasks heal.

• This is a great rune if you have an aggressive play style.
