Description

This odd nesting egg enemy doesn’t appear until the final dungeon in Chapter 10, which is odd, since you’ll encounter a stronger variant, the Grannygalan, on Mission 9-4-6, which you might reach by Chapter 4. The Grangalan isn’t a terribly imposing opponent, preferring to bounce around, stopping to nibble at you for little damage from time to time. Other than this, it’ll cast Quake, but it’s MAG score isn’t really high enough to make this a threat. Perhaps its most interest feature is its ability to spew out smaller versions of itself - the Grangalan Jr and the Baby Grangalan, the latter of which can cast Curaga and Wall, and the former of which… well, spoiled first child syndrome, it doesn’t really contribute all that much.
