I remember those brutes well, the 
Words Keepers! They came with Thorel to prevent thefts in the library, or so they said. Abbot Dorin thought that books don’t need armed guards, but people to read them. I agree. Here are my notes:
Bad news: They are very strong. Do not try to block their attacks unless you have the skill and a suitable weapon to counter them.
The good news is that they are slow and predictable. It shouldn’t be difficult to take advantage of their lack of imagination.
Sooner or later, one of them will try to steal the words from Dorin’s book. Go after him as soon as that happens, or you will have to start over.
