Vault 81 is a Vault-Tec Vault located in the Commonwealth, operational in the year 2287.

Background / History

Vault 81 was designed by Vault-Tec with the ambitious goal of developing a universal cure for all human sicknesses. However, the first overseer, Dr. Olivette, sabotaged the experiments, leading to the vault’s success as a functioning shelter rather than a laboratory.
