There are four different factions that have their own individual questlines in Starfield and they all give you a unique reward. This page will provide you with a list of the correct order you should play the United Factions in.

Friends Like These is the fourth quest in the UC Vanguard Questline.

All United Colonies Quests in Starfield

In order to begin the United Colonies Faction Questline you’ll need to join the vanguard which can be done by speaking with Commander Tuala on "New Atlantis" iconNew Atlantis. If you’re having trouble locating him, then follow the steps on our How to Join the UC Vanguard in Starfield page to get you started. Once you’re a fully fledged member of the UC !Vanguard you’ll need to playthrough a total of nine missions to complete the United Colonies Questline. These quests have you focus on learning everything about Terrormorphs and trying to find a way to eliminate them.

Each of the four factions have a unique reward for completing the questline, and for completing United Colonies Questline you’ll be rewarded with a free apartment which is a massive improvement from the one you can purchase in the Wells as it has a lot more room. So if you’re interested in interior design, then completing this quest line early on is a must for you.

Starfield is an action role-playing game from Bethesda Game Studios set in a futuristic interpretation of space exploration and colonization. Earth has long been abandoned, but there are plenty of other planets in different star systems where humans have ventured and settled. You have the freedom to create your own character with a unique background, but the main story will take you through a series of adventures as you uncover more information about mysterious artifacts which create gravitational anomalies. Along the way, you can build and customize your own space ship, establish your own outpost, befriend and romance new companions, and more. As a Bethesda game, you can also expect to see a lot of creative mods which have the potential to change your experience of the base game, or take it in an entirely new direction.
