Thought Peek

Con-grat-u-la-tions.

Enemy Attacks

Painspout (Can’t block!): Bundt will conjure pillars of water that shoots up under all targets. This will hit for around 15-20 HP and cannot be blocked.

Blizzard (Can’t block!): Bundt will let out a chilly snowstorm on all targets, hitting for around 10-15 HP and cannot be blocked. This often follows Painspout.

Sand Storm (Can’t block!): Similar to Blizzard, Bundt will let out a dusty sandstorm towards all targets, hitting for around 15 HP and inflicting Fear.

Lulla-Bye (Can’t block!): Bundt will begin to sing, inflicting Sleep on a single target.

Diamond Saw: Two snowflakes are shot off, before returning and striking a single target. Wait for the snowflakes to return before timing your defense, failure to do so will see the target take heavy damage.

Gust: Bundt will let out a small gust of wind toward a single target, wait until just before it connects to time your defense.

Strategy

Phew, that’s a lot of attacks! Bundt will most certainly be the toughest battle you’ve encountered yet and if you’re not careful, you can get a Game Over easily. You’ll be told early on that attacking with regular attacks will blow out the candles, and this should be your main focus. The longer you leave them lit up, the more deadly attacks you’ll have to suffer.

Bundt often attacks twice a combat round, and usually with party-wide attacks that can’t be blocked so hopefully you have items like Croaka Cola as you’ll need it. The most worrying of these attacks is Sand Storm, as not only will that deal damage to everyone, but you’ll also suffer from Fear unless you’re protected against it. Take a Diamond Saw and fail to defend against it after and you’ll most likely find that character downed.

Be sure to keep Mallow in your party to help with some of the healing, and have the other two continue to whack away at Bundt until you defeat it and move on to the next phase of the battle against Raspberry.
