Maelle has a powerful weapon you can find relatively early in Act 1 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. However, you can definitely miss it if you're not paying attention.

Don't worry! This video goes into detail in the two ways you can nab the Medalum weapon early in the game, whether you missed it the first time or not. Do note you can also find it late in Act 3, as well, but I don't go into detail on that here.
