Gestral Quest Side Quests

Karatom can be found beneath the large T-posing Sakapatates in the village. He’ll ask for your help building the Ultra-Nightmare Sakapatates.

You need to get some Blue Spores from Esquie’s Nest, then fight it solo with Gustave to complete the request.

Deal 9,999 in one hit to satisfy Ono-Puncho’s request. You will recieve the Sakapatate outfit for Maelle as your reward.

This challenge is likely impossible when you first encounter Ono-Puncho early in the game, but most players will find that hitting the 9,999 damage cap becomes fairly easy early in Act II without too much effort. Once you’re reaching the cap, it’s worth keeping this quest in mind and returning to Gestral Village when you’re ready.

For the quickest way to hit the cap and complete the quest, your best bet is to equip Maelle with the weapon Medalum to place her in Virtuoso stance. Then, stack as many buffs as possible to increase her damage before using the Percée skill. Even in the early game, you can use Gustave’s Powerful skill to buff Maelle, and the Marking Shots Pictos found in Flying Waters to debuff Ono-Puncho, making him take more damage. With this combination, you shouldn’t have any trouble completing the request.
