The Pictograph Box¶

Talk to Koume to receive the Pictograph Box then you’ll be given a tour. You can reach the Deku Palace at the first stop, do so. Put on the Deku Mask as you enter Deku Palace.

Magic Beans¶

It’s the obligatory stealth mission; just keep calm and observe the guards’ patterns.

Head past the guards and into the Royal Chambers. Speak with the Deku King then take a picture of him with the Pictograph Box . The Princess is missing and this monkey is being marked the guilty party.

Leave the Royal Chambers and a monkey approaches, apparently his brother is innocent but you need to prove it by helping him out. First go down the west side of the Deku Palace and sneak past all of the guards to reach Piece of Heart #12 .

Now, go through the eastern side of the Deku Palace. There are guards everywhere and they’ll throw you out if you get caught, it’s easy enough to walk behind them and move to the end of the area. Hop into the hole and speak with the Bean Seller to acquire Magic Beans .

Head to the other end of this hole and plant the Magic Beans, then fill your bottle with water and dump it on the sprout. Refill your bottle and get more Magic Beans then ride the lily pad up to a chest with a Red Rupee.

Use the other portal of light to reach the side of the palace. Plant a Magic Bean and water it then ride back to the entrance of the Southern Swamp temporarily.

Piece of Heart #13¶

Revisit the Swamp Tourist Center and show the man inside your Pictograph Box picture of the Deku King to recieve this Piece of Heart .

Piece of Heart #14¶

Outside the Swamp Tourist Center is a Business Scrub. Trade your Land Title Deed for the Swamp Title Deed then put on the Deku Mask. Use the Deku Flower to reach the roof of the Swamp Tourist Center and claim this Piece of Heart .
