In-game Description

This Lightroot can only be accessed via Hyrule Castle Moat East Chasm, which itself is located in a hidden cave called Hyrule Castle Moat East Chasm. Watch out for the Blue-White Frox as you are gliding down. It can jump really high!

Detailed Location(s)

To reach the Apapes Lightroot you need to first locate the entrance to the Hyrule Castle Moat East Chasm, which is on the cliffside just east of Hyrule Castle, at the marker shown on our map here. At the edge of the cliff, jump down and use your Paraglider to fly into the cave, moving backwards towards the cliff from the direction in which you jumped, then dive into the chasm to reach the depths below.

At the bottom of the Hyrule Castle Moat East Chasm, you can turn north to see the dim glow of the Apapes Lightroot if you landed on a platform. If instead you landed on the ground, just keep heading north until you reach the lightroot.
