Search around the corpse at the pedestal (left), the mention of the eyes on the face of stone is the key here. (right)
Head to Fáfnir’s Storeroom and proceed through it until you reach the pedestal room just past the waterfall. There will be a corpse slumped up against it holding the Treasure Map.
Treasure Location¶
When you return to the mountain later in your journey, head up the stairs and climb the wall as you approach the doors under the face of the mountain. Search the left of the cliff edge to find the dig spot.
